multi-disciplinary designer / illustrator / gardener
Fascinated by resilient futures, interactions and experiences, exploring an array of projects keeps me curious, interested and innovative. I enjoy working with diverse teams to create shared experiences.
My professional experience includes working at a budding Experience Design Studio in Bangalore and Illustrating Childrens Books as a freelancer. At the studio I worked on design strategy, research and thinking for a 'holistic living and community experience space'. The design team actively collaborated with business owners, engineers, architects and a number of other professionals.
I strongly believe in and enjoy a holistic approach to projects, customizing traditional design processes to aid them. To add value to my own practice I've taken a series of short courses, over the last year, in: Service design, Futures Thinking (IED Barcelona), and Permaculture Design (with Milkwood Permaculture).
Being a keen gardener has helped me grasp the intricacies of natural systems. It also pushed me to carefully observe consumption patterns of individuals and communities. As I'm transitioning to a sustainable and regenerative lifestyle, I've been looking for opportunities that encourage the same.
